No one links to me?

Actually, someone does!

Melancholicus has just noticed Infelix Ego included among the Catholic links on this very fine blog by Elena Maria Vidal.

Go pay her a visit.

Welcome, O Bloviator. Melancholicus is honoured by your presence.

I read a lot of Anglican blogs, and I've actually been a lurker on your blog almost from the beginning. I have also followed your journey out of ECUSA (sorry, I know it should be TEC but I'm addicted to the use of the old acronym) and into the Catholic Church, and on that account may I welcome you also to the Roman communion.

Oremus pro invicem, as they say. Let us pray for one another.

If you want people to know you're here, you have to put in the odd comment so you can be checked out!

...and what have you to be so melancholic about anyway?
;-)

Alas!

It's my temperament, you see. Two parts melancholic and one part phlegmatic. The very worst combination, since it mixes phlegm with black bile, finishing in a moist and cold disposition in which one becomes vexatious to oneself as well as to one’s neighbours.

The afflictions that arise from such an unfortunate combination incline one to sadness and sloth, as well as to such vices as blogging when one ought to be fulfilling the duties of one’s state in life.

On the other hand, this temperament is very handy, one can blame almost everything on it and so evade responsibility for anything.

A thousand welcomes, thou strong woman. Thank you for your comment. It was a policy of mine to try and keep myself secret, just to see how long it would take for this blog to be noticed - and in less than three months it already has an audience without any advertising or promotion.

Blasted sitemeters. Grrr.
